We had an amazing time!!!Rated:by Had the best time ever from canada Written 3 years ago | We had a great time at the Getaway Club. The staff there are fantastic!! The rooms aren't horrible, and really there is so much to do that who needs a big room there anyways? The food isn't great, but its decent. Fresh fruit at almost every meal which was amazing. ( and there are lots of restaraunts nearby for cheap.. maybe 10$ american or less) The beach was not great, but still nice. I don't know what else to say. I went with a few girlfriends and had a blast. The entertainment was fun and the drinks were strong. |
You only get what you pay for!Rated:by R. Brand from Canada Written 3 years ago | We stayed Jan 2009. It was not what I expected, however what do you want for very cheap and last minute? The place is very run down and could use some renos. However the staff were excellent, the pools nice&clean as well as the grounds. We did up grade our room as soon as we got there. Met lots of other great Canadians! Enjoyed the entertainment daily and with a little $$$$ in staff pockets recieved great room service and drinks! I hope they look into fixing the resort up. It is in a great location for walking down the beach boardwalk and to downtown. |
Great for the PriceRated: by Nolan James from Canada Written 3 years ago | This place can be fun, if you decide you want to have fun. Don't expect 5-star food and service because this is a 2-3 star hotel. I met loads of fun people and had a great time.
Do not use your credit card on the phones in the lobby! The charge is about $7 US per minute. |
