The Lindo Mar hotel is just south of Puerto Vallarta. An inexpensive cab ride or a very inexpensive bus ride into town.
The beach is gorgeous. While not huge, the water is crystal clear and excellent for snorkeling. In the winter, the dolphins like to play out front of the restaurant.
Nestled in the Sierra Madre Mountains, you have the best of both worlds at Lindo Mar. You are close to town, yet in an tropical jungle of color and beauty.

We Loved Lindo Mar

We have stayed at Lindo Mar several times and absolutely loved it everytime. The service is always great, the food great and reasonably priced, not 1 but 2 happy hours daily, great views especially sunsets.

This is a family resort away from the main Vallarta hustle, yet only a 50 cent bus ride away.

We spent 4 days at Lindo Mar in 2005 while waiting for our condo to be available. We enjoyed our time there very much, loved the facilities and found the personnel to be helpful, polite and accommodating. We will return there one day and have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful place.

It is gorgeous and authentic, very classy and a very relaxed enviroment. It is a wonderful place to relax and spend some family time!
