Buenaventura Grand Hotel & Spa Category 5 stars

This site is like a clasroom, except I don't hate it. lol

It was a great experience, evrything is petty close to the hotel, stores, night club,restaurants perfect for a long weekend..

What I love most about this hotel was the amazing view it has to the beach. It has awesome facilities for its guest to use and it is conveniently located (to the beach and the Center). The only thing I didn't like was the smell, I think it was mold..?

My husband and I stayed at the Buenaventura in October, 2010, and are still talking about the wonderful time we had. It's quiet, peaceful, well-kept, and relaxing--and the staff are top notch. We chose to spend all our time in the hotel because it was difficult to walk down the street and not be interrupted by countless folks attempting to sell us something--especially time shares. We got a little tired of the buffet, which, by mid-week, seemed to include a lot of leftovers and warm ups. However, the fresh fruits and juices were magnificent.

Most relaxing Hotel. Close to everything and the waiters are the best. Forty Five of us go every year and meet the people again, we met there the year before.

My family had stayed at this hotel for a week 2 years ago and the place was awesome! Last year when we went to Puerto Vallarta we stayed at the Plazza Pelicanos, which was also very nice. We walked into the Buenaventura and the renovated the whole place including the rooms. We liked it the way it was before they renovated it but it was very nice when we went in. When we arrived home from the Pelicanos, we looked how much it would cost for us to return to the Buenaventura. In my opionion, it is way too expensive to return back to the Buenaventura. If they lowered the price, my family and myself would return in a hartbeat!

We are a muture couple and decided to spend our honeymoon in Mexico. I had not been in Mexico for 35 years and our overall experience was first class at the Buenaventura. We chose the European plan as we did not want to be tied to the hotel for our meals. Easy walking distance to the Malecon and the inumerable restaurants in Puerto Vallarta.We will be back very soon.

Me and my sister stayed at buenaventura for the second year from jan.5 to the 19. We loved it the staff is amazing. We espacially had fun with Alex from the activity center. We had trouble with our toilette one night they sent someone right away. The food is good there's something for everyone. Great location for a younger crowed cause you can walk back to the hotel every night after clubing.

My family and I were there for the week of jan/05 to jan/13. We had the greatest time we were treated just great. There was a group of about 23 or 24 of us all. My favorite person was Fernado he was just the faboulous. The people selling on the beach were very nice also.

I really liked Rodger if some one could email me his and fernado's addresses I would like to send them a gift from Canada.I have recemmeded this hotel to everyone I see. And if you ask Fernado I have a loud mouth (haha). The GREATEST PLACE TO BE.Highly recemmeded.

We stayed the 1st week of Deccember while still under renovations, but despite that it was wonderful. The staff were amazing and the location was perfect. It was great being able to walk into the city but get away from it all by the beach.
