Marival Resort & Suites Category 5 stars

was just there feb9-16 2012. Staff is excellent- bars are really great- dont do the breakfast info - time share speel- but after that- its perfect....i was there with my sisters -my birthday- they were really kind and make efforts to make it special for me- i brought my adult girls- they really had fun- they didn t like that fact that there little waves- were red flagged,they have been in REAl waves !!! but they are trying to keep us safe. DISCO was empty- so we danced with the staff-you can pay$$ and they will take you into town for the night-well worth it!! felt very safe- go there and enjoy!!!!

We had a awesome trip. The staff was great and our kids (12&13) had a blast. Would return. Great restruants

My wife and two sons and I just spent a week there over Spring Break; I fell in love with the place! I have nothing negative to say about the place! I can't remember a better time with my family. The resort set-up was perfect; lots to do for two boys ages five and eight. The grounds alone were beautiful. The staff were exceptional and extremely friendly and helpful. The food was second to none! I couldn't get over how many different things there was to choose from and how great everything tasted! After dinner nightly the kids wouldn't let us miss the shows in the theater at the resort, which were great and very entertaining. The room was clean and comfortable and had a view to die for! My wife and I have travelled rather extensively and we have already decided we are going back there again next year! The beach was great! We spent hours in the water boogeyboarding, body surfing and playing in the waves and collecting shells.The big 'cincher' for me was, I wasn't badgered at all to buy anything from the beach venders. The venders were on the beach, but they didn't bother you at all. There was so much to do and a week just wasn't enough time to fit everything in! I'll be back next year to try though!!!

Jan 2010. Just had one week at the Marival with family and two young (2&5) kids.
Bad start with pressure to buy timeshare before we got to our rooms.
Good points: great for kids;good beach; staff very friendly; entertainment and sports facilities very good; only 5 hrs direct flightfrom Kelowna.
Bad points: rooms only basic(grand) definately not 5 star, suites may be better; ocean with big waves not safe for swimming or kids ;restaurants O.K but only the Italian was of a high standard

We loved, loved, loved it. The Marival staff, the food, the service, the rooms they were all wonderful. We went last March and will be returning again this March. Our children ages 7,4, and 2 still talk about it and can't wait to go again. We always thought we would have liked to try other places in Mexico but after finding this place, how could we go anywhere else?

It was my first time visiting The Marival Grand&Club Suites, 3 years ago.
I fell in Love with all of it.
The people that worked there were awesome !
I felt like Royalty.
One day I hope to return to such a glamorous Place on Earth.

This is the third time il be going to marival everything is so good the food and drinks im tellin all my friends about marival.

Beautiful resort and a great location! Food was good overall. Pools and beach were great! Tennis courts and gym were excellent!

We stayed last Dec. This was our first time. We brought our children (4,6 years). We felt that we needed to keep our children with us the entire time until we arrived and met Gizelle the following day! Gizelle and staff made our children feel like family and gave them a vacation that they still talk about!!!To make the vacation even better my husband and I were able to enjoy each other for a few hours in the day - a real vacation! There were so many rest that we were never tired of the food choices available. Book early (day before) to get the rest of your choice. Even the children were happy! The entertainment was spectacular! The children were able to go to the disco just prior to the live entertainment. The fun times just kept going and going! We then felt very comfortable returning to our hotel room which was always cleaned daily by very nice staff. Go to the Marival - you will be so happy with your stay!

This place is one of the best hotels I have stay I will actually recomend it. Lunch the best many kinds of foods, people very polite, very clean, nice pools, this hotel i will actually rate it as a family vacation trip. To those who go I will recomend to take the pirates ship tour one of the best tours good show. People very polite, entertaiment one of the best ones specially Mr. Pirata Morgan and his team from marigalante/do not go snorking lots of jelly fish /other than that one of the best shows ever. Rooms very nice, service good, I don't recomend people to take the bus tour it's not worth it. Food very expensive when you stop to eat.
Go have fun with the other tours I'm sure you will have more fun. Marival it is one of the best places to stay I will recomend it. Beach nice, you could actually walk along the board walk, very clean. If you want to bring momentos to your love ones go to downtown you will find a wallmart very cheap. Just a recomendation from a friend. You all have a good trip stay safe.
