Tropicana Category 4 stars

My Family and I Love spending time at the Tropicana. We are heading back in February 2012 and can not wait to see all the staff and the new pool.

Great place, friendly staff, wonderful location right on the best beach in PV

I visited PV for the first time in January. I stayed in 4 different hotels, and also one rental condo during my weeks there. The Tropicana was my favorite. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and it was the quietest place to sleep. After listening to dogs barking incessantly and roosters crowing all morning at other places, it was so nice to have such a quiet place. I spent an hour each evening before bed sitting on my terrace listening to the waves. I'm planning on coming back this next January, and will stay at the Tropicana again.

Second time staying here at the Tropicana. This time on the 8th floor in the main hotel. Newly painted and brand new mattresses. Wonderful stay just before Christmas!! Service was good and the guys were making sure that you always had something to sip on while lounging around the pool.

Have stayed at this hotel 4 times. Great location. Clean but spartan rooms. I have stayed in hotels at twice the price in PV that are not as nice as the Tropicana.

If your wanting to stay in the romantic zone, this is the place to stay. I'm going back this winter for two weeks. I'm looking forward to it!!!

We have been to the Tropicana 4 times in the last 7 years. It's a great location and easy walk anywhere you need to go. Close to restuarants and the staff is always pleasant. Only draw back are the HARD beds.

On December 26, 2007 was my first time in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in the hotel TROPICANA. It is a great place to visit and i really like it and i wish i could go again. I might go this year again with all my family. The service is excellent, the price is good, the location was the most beautiful place i been to and well the food was good to but I really didn't like it because I was feeling kind of sick, so to me it didn't tasted so good, but yes I do recommend this hotel. My grandma had an issue about her lost ring she though the lady that came in to clean stolen it but later she found it. LMAO! I'ill be hoping to come again.

I have stayed here the last week in October for the past 3 years. Every year the service has been outstanding. They're constantly cleaning and taking care of the property. The location is absolutely perfect and the beach is beautiful. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Puerto Vallarta.
