Not only was the service, music, but the food was the absolute BEST! It was such an amazing experience and we cant wait to return!!! My 8yr old said "This was the BEST food I have ever had, Mommy...Can we come back?"! This in itself, speaks for volumes! |
Poor, Canned Test, Waste of Money!!Rated:![]() by Tony Dillworth from Canada Written 3 years ago | We was in this parody of restaurant, was a recomendation of the concierge of the hotel (late in the week we investigate receibe commision from the restaurant), the food was testless, no, I'm wrong, test as a canned food or from a t.v. frozen box, the drinks water with sugar, the service very, but very bad!!! the employees look in very miserable attitude, the manager or owner, drinking in the bar, and stering in the ladies, specially in my doughter!!, and the bottle of wather (8.00 usd) was refilled from the tap, at the end of this bad dream, I paid with my cdreit card and 10 hours lather I denote the charge (was originally $130.00 usd) was done for $1300.00 usd, when i try to speack with the manager, he call the police because "I was doing disturbance in his restaurant", so take care and dont put yourself in risk, dont waste your time and money in this poor replica of restaurant, is allways the taco place beside, at leats is honest, warm and the food is good, and alot cheapper! |

December 4,2008Rated:![]() by Larry from USA Written 3 years ago | My wife and I had an excellent meal. Very quaint, 2 blocks away from the boardwalk. Owner is really nice, great food, service and excellent cook. 4 course meal for my wife and I appetizers, sorbet, entree, dessert and coffee plus four cocktails all for $80.00 US plus tip. |
Not worth your moneyRated:![]() by RBZ from USA Written 3 years ago | We were a family of 5 and we visited Cilantro's after it was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. The two good meals that were served were Chicken enchiladas and chicken prosciutto. I would not recommend ordering any type of red meat as it was very rough and chewy and had lots of gristles. I will say the presentation was very beautiful but the taste was simply not there. The other bad thing, is Cilantro's was the only location where my husband used his credit card and 36 hours later we got a phone call from our bank telling us that $1800 dollars had been charged to our credit card from a walmart, Beauty parlor, and automobile service...all in puerto vallarta. I would not recommend this place at all. |
We just loved this placeby mark from USAWritten 4 years ago | We found this place quite by accident one night, not wanting to gorge on another heavy Mexican meal. What a find! Everything was superb from the salads to dessert. We ended up having dinner there three times in one week. We wish we had found it the first night there. The ambiance is really special too. I love that the place is sort of on the small side. It seemed like they pay special attention to details. The only drawback is the stairs, which weren't a problem for me, but my companion was recovering from knee surgery and found get up to the dinin room a challenge. |
Great food, nice atmosphereby Jana from USAWritten 4 years ago | My family travels to PV several times per year so we have eaten at many restaurants. This relatively new place is very good and has some unique and interesting dishes. Every dish we have tried has been of the highest quality. The drinks are top notch also. I wouldn't call this a traditional Mexican restaurant. More like international with a Mexican flair. This is one of our new favorites - I hope they continue to be successful. |

Great atmosphereRated:![]() by john darren from usa Written 4 years ago | My daughter and I enjoyed this wonderful restaurant just as my wife and I did last year.
We intend to bring all our children here in the next two years to equally enjoy the food, service, drink and ambiance. We've lived and enjoyed restaurants in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Rome. This restaurant matches up with the best of them in each of those cities. We highly recommend you visit this restaurant if you visit Puerto Vallarta and wish to enjoy a dining experience par excellance. |
Hidden Gem!Rated:![]() by jhon darren from usa Written 4 years ago | Excellent service and great food! We found this place on our 2nd trip to PV. Plan on visiting it again on our 3rd trip in 2007. |
