This place is known for the best cinnamon buns ever, but you need to be lucky to get there when they make some since they immediately sell out! You are more likely to find some in the mornings.

Dees is a special coffee house as he staff are cherry and the fellow Reg is a riot and can tell you the location of any place that your having a problem finding.

Dee's has the best homemade pastries in Vallarta - better than my Mom used to make - and that is saying something. Also good breakfast food and cafe, por supuesto.

In a nice location near the beach, always a/c which is a godsend in the summer.

(Somebody said the staff was rude? They must've been rude gringos - these mujeres work their butts off, and always smile at the customers!)

What a place!! Dee and her staff and all the locals especially Judy and Reg are fantastic. Oh ya the coffee and the eats are pretty terrific also. A wonderful place to have your morning coffee and chat with wonderful people for other places. Great place to keep in contact back home with email and phone calls. This place is a must to visit quite a few times while you are on vacation in PV. It is like having coffee with your family, everyone is so warm and cheery and always a story to tell. Keep up the great job!

Last year I asked the owner if Dee was short for her name or 'Dee-licious'. Get the coffee and definitly get one of her hot sticky buns- er rolls!

Just got back from a long weekend in Vallarta. My morning ritual was to wake up, walk over to Dee's and grab a coffee and breakfast. Some days it was just a delicious muffin and others it was a plate of eggs and ham. No matter what I tried, it was very good.
Not only did I enjoy the food but the owner Dee is a great character and the place is filled with employees that enjoy what they do. Around 10am when the fresh Cinnamon rolls are ready the ladies get all excited. The one who brings them to the front counter yells out at the top of her lungs "ROOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEESSSS" "CALENTIIIIIITOOOOOO" "LLLIIIIIIIIIISSSSSTTTTTTTAAAAA". It puts a smile on your face every time you hear it. (and the cinnamon rolls will put a smile in your belly).
If you are in Puerto Vallarta, make it a point to go visit Dee sometime during the day. Enjoy a great cup of coffee, a slice of home made pie or a breakfast treat. She has been in business now for 5 years and contributes to the local community year round. So keep her business going and stop by and say hello.
