We stay in Nuevo often and ALWAYS make Fajita Republic a must at least once during our stay. Food is fantastic and margaritas are killer!

We have been coming to Nuevo for nearly 10 years but last night was our first time to this Restaurent. The food was great! Inexpensive! The the drinks were definitely not watered down! Needless to say we will be back this trip and in the future.

Been there maybe 6 times. Great every time. We work off part the indulgence by walking back to Paradaise Village. Good food, good service, fun atmosphere (especially in the dark), good price.

We have been there a few times, and each and every time all was wonderful. Recommend to make reservation for it is very popular.

We make annual trips to Puerto Vallarta/Nuevo Vallarta. We've eaten at both the PV and NV locations of Fajita Republic and have never had a bad meal. We normally travel with a medium sized group and everyone's meals are wonderful. The service has always been great as well. The mosquitos can be an issue - depending on the time of year you are there. This can be the case at any open-air restaurant in the area, so we always apply bug spray before we head out for the evening.

We found this place when we attempted to go to La Portena and it was closed due to weather.
As another comment mentioned, the mosquitos were a little bit of an issue. We ordered the mixed fajita that came with the beef, chicken and shrimp....mmm YUM. The guacamole made the dish and the rice was yummy to! The atmosphere of the restaurant is rustic and tranquil. We also tried the Mango Marg! Prices are really good. Yes, we will go again this year.

This restauarant has the best atmosphere I have ever seen the food is great and the service is perfect no worries here your evening will be perfect.

You know it's going to be bad when they pass out bug spray with the menus. This place is open air and right on the canal, so the mosquitoes are huge and hungry. We hadn't been there 2 minutes when I got my first bite. If the food had been worth it, I might have just smeared on the deet they gave us and put up with it, but the meat tasted awful! They gave us a free tequila shot at the end, but I was ready for the whole bottle!

the restaurant is great. nothing too fancy, but the food is delicious, the drinks are tasty, and the service is good.



don't forget to order the fried ice cream for dessert. we visit vallarta every christmas for 4 years already, and go back there every time, many times. they're great with large groups too!

Great place if you are staying in the Nuevo Vallarta Hotel area. We loved it so much we went twice on our trip down there. Steak fajita's melt in your mouth! It's right on the water and walking distance from Marival resort.
