Description

Named after a picturesque little town close to Rome, Frascati La Cruz is the 4th restaurant of the prestigious Frascati Ristorante chain, established in Guanajuato and other places of Central Mexico. Ample and quiet, with soft illumination, its dishes are served in the right amount, perfect for sharing. The menu has the right size and a very good variety. Fish or beef Carpaccio, home made tortellinis filled with spinach and ricotta cheese, Ossobuco Di Vitello, Beef medallions with gorgonzola cheese sauce, are some of the top choices of the menu, as well as traditional desserts like tiramisu.

Frascati offers a very nice wine selection displaying over 50 wines of excellent quality from all over the world.

It has an a/c saloon, with 20 people capacity. Also a small interior garden, with a nice shaped fountain surrounded by art work of local artists. Frascati is the perfect combination of quality, ambiance and price.

I've been here four times, twice with friends and twice by myself. Service is good in that the wait staff is attentive and familiar with the menu. Atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant enough. The food is uninspired. I've had three different dishes, one twice and the others once each and was only impressed with the quality of the meal once but I'll try it again because two good friends just insist on going there when we go out together. I'm not so much unhappy with the place as bored and unexcited by its offerings.

Love this restaurant! We have to go every time we are in PVR. Go past Bucerias and follow till you see the signs to get off in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. It will be on the left side road then follow till you see it on the right. You are going to be glad you did!
