LOVE this place for fish tacos for lunch. Dinner was a bit questionable. First time was WONDERFUL, then the second time was so-so. If you get a good table it can be very enjoyable.

Fish&chips is not what comes to mind when in PV, but actually great. They use snapper with there own English beer batter along with home made fries and slaw. Great location in the Romantic Zone. Something different from the lower end mexican and high end gormet.

My partner and I were there during the height of the H1N1 scare in May. My gawd, fresh snapper as there ever was! Fish and chips were the best I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. Ceviche was refreshingly perfect, the right amount of tart and the right texture.

Mojitos we...strong ans scrumptious. Our rooftop dining experience was excellent. So much so we went twice for dinner during our 5 day trip. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. We loved it and are definitely going back for dinner during our next visit to P.V.

Excelent

You probably have a few favourite restaurants in your home city. As long as Vallarta is your home, 2 weeks or all winter, this place will be one of your favourites.
First off, the owner/chef is in the kitchen almost every night. He was there every night I was there, but I was told he occasionally takes a day off (the place is open 7 days a week), but not until after high season.
Secondly the kitchen is tiny and you get to see it as you head upstairs. Thus you know how clean it is and that everything has to be fresh because there is no where to store it. They have a tiny freezer, and I was told that it only holds french fries.
Thirdly, the bathrooms are not just immaculate, but nicely decorated as well. You will not be saying this about too many places in PV after your visit. Lots of clean bathrooms, not too many fresh flowers.
Fourthly, only fresh fruit in the drinks! if the chef worries about fresh drinks, think about how much he worries about the food.
Anyway, go there judge for yourself. I had several different waiters during my stay and all of them were good some were great you may even learn to love the crazy english guy on the door after you try the fish and chips.
