We happened upon Tsunami by chance mid-vacation. So glad we did. The service was exceptional&I loved the mini-margarita shot they greet you with. The sushi was phenomenal! We came back a few nights later&the waiters remembered us with hugs&hand shakes. Love you guys!!! We'll be back!

They advised they will be opening at the PVR airport in a couple of months

It was soooo good. I love to try new sushi at local places. I have to say I was very pleased with the smoked marlin as I have never had that on a roll before. The service was more than expected and with a smile. Going back in October and am looking forward to eating here several times. We found Tsunami Sushi on our last night. Easy to get to. When you finish the shopping in the are is very nice too. Have the chef make you something he likes to make. He makes an awesome sushi salad that is not on the menu. It looked great but it was after I was finished that I asked about some of the great foods coming across the sushi bar and the chef spoke with a smile on his face. He and all the staff where so nice and pleasing to please you. Enjoy.

My husband and I have dined at Tsunami's many times and have NEVER had less than excellent service - combined with fresh, delicious sushi and sashimi. I was introduced to sushi in Tokyo, Japan in the 1970's, and lived in So. California for 45-yrs. I dined at many, many sushi establishments that were good, but Tsunami Sushi in Puerto Vallarta rates among the top 3 I've ever!

Would go back everyday if I could

Three of us went to Tsunami Sushi and we were all impressed. I eat sushi regularily, the other two not quite as often, but we all were able to enjoy an outstanding meal. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, but it was worth every single over stuffed bite. Fresh, clean, crisp flavors throughout the meal. The staff was extremely attentive. Would eat there everyday, and will definitely go back on our next trip!

Found this place in an online search for sushi in PV. The reviews were outstanding enough to check it out. Suffice to say we verify the comments. From the service to the variety, freshness and flavour - Tsunami has it all. Off the main beach area but well worth the $8 taxi fare. Try the sake marquerita for a treat.

Awesome!

First time I went to Tsunami was in 1994. Well, it was the great and I would visit year after years and it was always delicious. I recently got the chance to go and although all the old chefs are no longer there it was still incredible. I had the chance to try the miso soup there; Best miso soup in the world. Try it try it try it!

My boyfriend and I eat there at least once every two weeks, we have both traveled and have agreed that the sushi rolls from tsunami are the best we have ever had. Now they are under new management so they are open on sundays and deliver! It may take some waiting but it is sooooo worth it!
